Q: How soon do I have to schedule my event?

A: We request that you schedule your event and reserve your event date at least 14 days in advance. This allows us time to plan your event and schedule the appropriate educators. 

 

Q: Is there a deposit?

A: We request a 50% non-refundable deposit 14 days before the event. The final non-refundable deposit is requested 7 days prior to the event, along with the head count for your event. **If you are unable to schedule your event at least 14 days in advance, we reserve the right to request non-refundable payment in full. **

 

Q: Is there an age limit?

A: Yes! All guests must be 18 years or older (unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). If there is alcohol at your event, we reserve the right to ask for identification from all guests.

 

Q: Do you have a store policy?

A: We ask that you do not bring red drinks, as they can stain the floor. Guests are responsible for clean up of all food, drinks and decorations after their event. If any merchandise is damaged during the event, the guests assume all responsibility for purchasing damaged merchandise. Guests must adhere to the store policy during the event or they will be asked to leave. 

 

Q: What is your policy on cancellations?

A: We request a non-refundable deposit on all events, changes in date are at the discretion of the owner and educators. 

 

Q: How far will your educators travel?

A: Our educators will travel as far as they'd like! The prices for our events include the cost of travel within the DC Metro Region. If you would like an educator to travel outside of that range, we are more than happy to work something out, however there may be extra fees associated with that.  

 

Q: Are your workshops hands-on?

A: No. Our workshops include the use of a mannequin and bananas.
